In Bishkek, as part of the Sverdlovsk District School League, competitions in children’s athletics and chess were held among students of general education schools.
From October 23 to 26, children’s athletics competitions were held at School No. 10 for students born in 2014 and younger. Twelve schools from the Sverdlovsk District participated.
The results of the children’s athletics competitions were as follows:
- 1st place — School No. 16
- 2nd place — School No. 66
- 3rd place — School No. 10
- 4th place — School No. 87
From December 15 to 17, chess competitions took place among students. Seven schools participated in the boys’ tournament and seven schools in the girls’ tournament.
Chess results for girls:
- 1st place — Aichurok Lyceum
- 2nd place — School No. 66
- 3rd place — School No. 38
- 4th place — School No. 23
Chess results for boys:
- 1st place — School No. 1
- 2nd place — School No. 66
- 3rd place — School No. 16
- 4th place — School No. 38
Winners and prize-winners were awarded cups, medals, and diplomas.
The School League was organized by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, Tourism, and Youth Affairs of the Bishkek City Hall.
