Bishkek City Hall reports that in connection with the incident involving student food poisoning at “Seitek STEM” School, all necessary actions by the Bishkek City Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology (CGSEN) have been carried out in accordance with established procedures.

As the school principal was on a business trip during the incident, Deputy Mayor Viktoriya Mozgacheva met with him today to provide guidance on the inadmissibility of deviations from the approved menu and violations of food service regulations in educational institutions.

The Deputy Mayor emphasized the importance of timely response to such cases, reviewed the current situation, and participated in a meeting with the parents of the students affected by the incident.

Furthermore, Bishkek City Hall has instructed all educational institutions in the city, regardless of ownership, to strictly comply with food service regulations. Any deviation from the approved menu, developed and coordinated with doctors and epidemiologists, is strictly prohibited.

Bishkek City Hall urges school administrators to pay special attention to ensuring the safety and quality of students’ meals.
