From October 22 to 25, 2025, the IV International Army Hand-to-Hand Combat Tournament took place in Bishkek at the “Gazprom” Sports and Fitness Center. The event was dedicated to the memory of Hero of the Soviet Union Major General Dayyr Asanov and the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Over 300 athletes participated, including competitors from Kyrgyzstan, as well as guests from Russia and Kazakhstan. The tournament featured youth, junior, and senior categories, with participants representing both civilian clubs and law enforcement agencies.
