On October 26, 2025, the Open Championship of the S. Dzhumanazarov Youth Sports School for mountaineering techniques on natural terrain was held in the Chunkurchak Gorge, dedicated to Open Doors Day.

Participants competed in three disciplines:

Rope Teams – a discipline designed to test coordination, teamwork, and mutual trust between partners;

Railing Technique – an assessment of the mastery of rope techniques and the speed of their execution;

Difficulty Climbing – a comprehensive discipline demonstrating the athlete’s level of training and ability to overcome the most challenging sections of the rock terrain.

The routes were designed to combine technical difficulty, terrain diversity, and the necessity of team interaction. Each participant demonstrated not only physical preparedness but also attentiveness, tactical thinking, and decision-making skills under challenging conditions.

The competition included 15 rope teams — a total of 30 athletes from the Chui Region and Bishkek city. The S. Dzhumanazarov Youth Sports School was represented by 6 students from the mountaineering department.

Organizer: S. Dzhumanazarov Youth Sports School.
