The Land Use Control Department of the Bishkek City Hall continues to strengthen oversight of advertising placements and to clear the city of structures that do not comply with the capital’s design code.
Yesterday, a raid was conducted in the Leninsky and Pervomaisky districts. In particular, work was carried out at the intersection of Manas and Zhibek-Zholu Avenues, as well as along sections of Molodaya Gvardiya Boulevard and Chui Avenue.
During the raid, signs and billboards that did not comply with the design code and were installed without permits were dismantled. In the Pervomaisky District, seven protocols were drawn up under Article 107, parts 3–4, of the Kyrgyz Republic Code on Violations.
As a result of the measures, 120 advertising structures were dismantled. The raid was conducted jointly with the akimats, the Municipal Inspection, and the Bishkek Main Department of Architecture and Urban Planning.
From January to September 2025, the Land Use Control Department dismantled a total of 3,278 illegally installed advertising structures. In addition, under Articles 107 and 179 of the Kyrgyz Republic Code on Violations, 288 protocols were issued for a total amount of 1,235,000 KGS.
