The Bishkek City Hall hereby notifies that, as part of the implementation of the second stage of the capital’s design code and in accordance with Bishkek City Council Resolution No. 134 dated May 14, 2024, “On Approval of Rules for the Placement and Operation of Information and Advertising Structures and Requirements for the Appearance of Building and Facility Facades in Bishkek,” as well as for the integration of the “Clean Sky” concept, it is necessary to organize engineering communications (fiber-optic lines) that are currently chaotically installed on building facades.

In this regard, we recommend the following:

Carry out the independent dismantling of cable lines laid along the street-facing facades of buildings and facilities.

Ensure the relocation and installation of communication lines underground or internally along courtyard-facing facades.

Bring external engineering networks to proper technical and aesthetic standards in accordance with the approved architectural requirements.

At present, these works will be carried out on the following streets: Zhibek Zholy Avenue, Chui Avenue, Zh. Abdrakhmanov Street, Chyngyz Aitmatov Avenue, and I. Akhunbaev Street.

We also appeal to the residents of Bishkek to be civically active and contact their Internet providers to expedite the elimination of violations related to cable installation on building facades.

For any questions, please contact the Bishkek Main Department of Urban Planning and Architecture of the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture under the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of the Kyrgyz Republic at: 185 Chokmorova Street, Urban Design Department, phone: 31-29-90.

Together, we will create an aesthetic, safe, and modern appearance for our city.
