Information has appeared on social media claiming that a mining farm is allegedly located on the premises of Special Auxiliary School No. 22. This report does not correspond to reality.
According to official municipal data, the facility is used as a station by the Internet provider Aknet LLC under a lease agreement, within which the organization provides the school with free Internet access.
The electricity supply to this facility comes from an independent source, which excludes the use of school resources for third-party purposes.
In accordance with Article 3 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Protection Against False Information,” the dissemination of false information in the Internet space of the Kyrgyz Republic is not permitted.
Furthermore, Article 109-3 of the Code of the Kyrgyz Republic on Offenses provides that the dissemination of false information using mass media or the Internet, which leads to disruption of public order, violation of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens or organizations, or legally protected interests of society or the state, without constituting a criminal offense, entails a fine of 200 calculation units for individuals and 650 calculation units for legal entities.
The Bishkek City Hall urges online platforms and media representatives to verify the accuracy of information before its dissemination and to seek official comments from the Department of Information Policy of the Bishkek City Hall.
