On October 1, 2025, a charity fair titled “From Heart to Heart” took place near the Kurmanjan Datka Monument, dedicated to International Day of Older Persons and World Heart Day.

The event was attended by Ainura Orozbaeva, Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration, Victoria Mozgacheva, Deputy Mayor, representatives of the Republican Center for Health Management and Medical Coordination under the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as the AgeNet network.

“International Day of Older Persons is not just a calendar date but an opportunity to express gratitude to the older generation for their hard work, wisdom, and love, which they generously pass on to us. Thanks to them, we have a solid foundation on which we build the future of our city and country.

It is especially symbolic that today, within the framework of this fair, we combine care for health with respect for people who deserve our special support,” said V. Mozgacheva.

At the fair, elderly participants showcased handmade crafts, decorative and applied arts, home products, and baked goods. Visitors could undergo free blood sugar testing and receive consultations from specialists.

The program included first aid workshops, a chess tournament, and a flashmob “Heart in Motion”. The event concluded with a concert program featuring creative ensembles of elderly performers, as well as vocal and dance groups.
