A roundtable meeting was held at the Bishkek City Prosecutor’s Office on the ongoing work under the Presidential Decree of the Kyrgyz Republic “On the State Strategy for Combating Corruption in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2025–2030”.

In accordance with this decree, an Action Plan has been approved for the implementation of the State Strategy for Combating Corruption in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2025–2030, covering the first phase for the medium-term period 2025–2027.

The meeting was attended by Bishkek City Prosecutor Kanat Nasipov, First Deputy Mayor Mirlanbek Baygonchokov, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, heads of district municipal administrations, and others.

Participants reviewed reports on work carried out by the district administrations and other relevant agencies.

Speakers emphasized that systematic and comprehensive awareness-raising activities are regularly conducted among staff, alongside effective personnel rotation.

Deputy Mayor M. Baygonchokov noted that the municipality has developed an Action Plan including training sessions, involvement of independent experts, streamlining of permit issuance and state registration, enhanced digitalization, and other measures.

During the meeting, K. Nasipov stressed the importance of a practical rather than formal approach to tasks requiring special oversight. He emphasized the need to strengthen control measures and take additional steps for the effective resolution of these issues.
