In Bishkek, road and sidewalk reconstruction works are ongoing. On Gogol Street, the contractor from the municipal enterprise Bishkekasfaltservice is actively laying asphalt.

To date, asphalt paving has been completed on the eastern side of the street from Moskovskaya Street to Toktogul Street, the western side from Bokonbaev Street to the “Asyl-Tash” residential complex, as well as on the section from Chui Avenue toward A. Ogonbaev Street (eastern side). Preparations for paving are continuing on the remaining sections.

The works are primarily carried out on weekends, due to the large number of educational institutions along Gogol Street, which results in high pedestrian and vehicle traffic on weekdays.

Additionally, the renovation includes the installation of an irrigation system, which will ensure efficient water drainage and increase the durability of the sidewalks.
