A meeting of the headquarters for the development of the city’s road and transport infrastructure was held at Bishkek City Hall under the chairmanship of Mayor Aibek Junushaliev.

Participants discussed key issues aimed at creating a comfortable urban environment for residents and visitors of the capital. In particular, the meeting focused on road and sidewalk repairs, as well as the improvement of adjacent areas.

Following the meeting, the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development was instructed to prepare, by November 1, 2025, an agreed list of roads and sidewalks scheduled for repair in 2026.

Territorial and subordinate departments of the City Hall, along with municipal enterprises, were tasked with completing the dismantling of structures that may obstruct repair works by March 1, 2026. This measure is necessary to ensure timely implementation of the approved projects.

In addition, the Bishkek Patrol Police Department was instructed to strengthen traffic control measures during peak hours — from 07:00 to 10:00 and from 18:00 to 20:00.
