Deputy Mayor of Bishkek Nurgaza Kurmanbekov met with a delegation of EcoMotion headed by Chairman Kang Jong-won in the meeting room of the metropolitan Municipality.

The main topic of the meeting was the discussion of the project "Integrated political and technological solutions to reduce air pollution and introduce high-voltage power sources (HVPS) at Bishkek CHPP".

The Deputy Mayor expressed gratitude to the delegation for the visit and interest in developing partnerships in the field of ecology and improving air quality in the capital. In turn, Mr. Kang Jung-won provided information about the company's activities and key areas of the project.

EcoMotion specializes in the development and implementation of air purification technologies and high voltage electrostatic precipitators (HVPS), as well as conducting technical, economic and environmental research in the energy industry.

As part of the project, it is planned to conduct a preliminary feasibility study on the introduction of HVPS technology at the Bishkek CHPP, including: assessment of existing dust collection systems; modeling of cleaning efficiency and energy conservation; development of a roadmap for the introduction of HVPS; preparation of recommendations for authorities and expansion of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of Korea.

It was also noted that the preliminary feasibility study will be implemented within the framework of the Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP), and in the future its results are planned to be extended to larger-scale international initiatives, such as Official Development Assistance (ODA) projects, through cross-country consultations.

This initiative to implement the Clean Air Bishkek project is part of the Bishkek City Development Program, one of the key goals of which is to ensure clean air and improve the environmental situation.

Following the meeting, Bishkek City Hall and EcoMotion signed a memorandum of understanding, which will become the basis for further cooperation in the field of ecology and energy.
