On September 21, 2025, the international charity marathon Bishkek Snow Leopard Run 2025 empowered by Visa will be held at Ala-Too Central Square. This annual sports event, held in Bishkek for the sixth time, has become a city tradition. The organizers are the public association Nomad Sport in collaboration with the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, Tourism, and Youth Affairs of Bishkek Mayor’s Office.

The race will run through central streets of the city, including Chuy Avenue, Y. Abdrahmanov Street, Ch. Aitmatov Avenue, and other iconic city landmarks. The main starting area will be at Ala-Too Central Square, and the 5 km race will start near the Manas Cinema at 47a Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue.

Participants can choose distances of 5 km, 14 km, 21.1 km, and 42.2 km, and a special Kulikov Kid’s Run is provided for children at distances of 100 m, 300 m, 500 m, and 1 km.

Start schedule (September 21, 2025): 07:00 — Marathon 42.2 km; 07:05 — Half Marathon 21.1 km; 07:10 — 14 km distance; 09:00 — 5 km distance; 11:00 — Kulikov Kid’s Run; 10:00–14:30 — Award ceremony and prize draw; 15:00 — Event conclusion.
