On September 16, 2025, the ceremonial opening of the 10th International Festival of Small Theater Forms “IMPULSE 2025” took place on the stage of the Bishkek City Drama Theater named after A. Umuraliev.

Urmat Belekbaev, Head of the Department of Culture of Bishkek Mayor’s Office, addressed the participants and guests of the festival, emphasizing the importance of the cultural forum for creative exchange and strengthening international cooperation in the field of theatrical arts.

The official opening continued with the performance of the drama “Esimde,” which became a bright start to the festival program.

The International Festival of Small Theater Forms “IMPULSE” traditionally brings together theater groups from Kyrgyzstan and abroad, presenting audiences with modern productions, new stage forms, and original directorial solutions. The 2025 anniversary festival is held in a “Festival–Laboratory” format, allowing participants to exchange experiences and create joint creative projects.
