Specialists from the Research Institute of Prospective Urban Development (RIPUD) are collecting initial data for a comprehensive urban planning analysis of Bishkek’s territory.

Representatives of the urban planning economics department of RIPUD are conducting a detailed survey of the city to identify issues in social infrastructure. Meetings have been held with specialists from city services and relevant experts.

At the city hall, a meeting was held to discuss the directions of prospective economic development for the capital, the need to revive the city-forming base, the placement of priority investment projects, and population forecasts.

Due to the city’s rapid growth, there is a shortage of social facilities, which is especially acute in education and healthcare.

The Master Plan aims to comprehensively address social infrastructure development: the document will include the normative number of kindergartens, schools, hospitals, clinics, ambulance stations, sports complexes, and cultural facilities.

This will allow for the allocation of land plots and the construction of necessary social facilities, contributing to balanced urban development, meeting the population’s needs for quality services, and improving residents’ comfort and well-being.
