To improve convenience for public transport passengers, Bishkek Mayor’s Office is considering the continuation of dedicated lanes on several central streets of the city.

The following sections are under consideration: Y. Abdrahmanov Street (extension of Baytik Baatyr Street) from A. Tokombayev Street to Zhumabek Street; Zhibek Zholu Avenue from Lermontov Street to Togolok Moldo Street; I. Akhunbaev Street from 7-April Street to Ch. Aitmatov Avenue; Chuy Avenue from Lermontov Street to Ibraimov Street; 7-April Street from Zhibek Zholu Avenue to A. Tokombayev Street; Deng Xiaoping Avenue from Fuchik Street to B. Alykulov Street.

The introduction of dedicated lanes will increase bus speeds, improve passenger service quality, and reduce travel time.
