Today, September 15, 2025, in the capital, a section of Lev Tolstoy Street from Ibraimov Street to K. Akiev Street, with a total length of 3.2 km, was opened after reconstruction.

The following works were carried out on this section: two layers of asphalt were laid; new road signs were installed; road markings were applied; curbs along the road were renovated.

These works aim to ease traffic flow and improve road safety in the city.

The Bishkek Mayor’s Office urges residents and visitors to strictly follow traffic rules on the renovated road.

It should be noted that additional lanes have been added at some intersections of the renovated streets to prevent congestion caused by high traffic volumes.
