In 2025, the city of Bishkek is making a serious step in the development of the territories annexed to the capital as part of the administrative and territorial reform. For these purposes, the budget provides for almost 600 million soms, which are allocated for the construction of social facilities, engineering infrastructure, roads and landscaping.
The Title List of Construction Projects (APR) for 2025 includes:
• construction of 6 social facilities and 7 design and survey works;
•major repairs of the pre-school educational institution "Orok";
•construction of 7 municipal infrastructure facilities (electricity, water supply, sewerage) and holding 24 festivals.
In the road sector:
•157.7 million soms were allocated for the repair of 18 streets with a total length of 12.16 km;
•Road signs are being updated;
•Residents have convenient access to schools, hospitals, and social facilities.
To increase safety and comfort, 2,078 light points worth almost 49 million soms have been installed.
In addition, the Bishkek City Kenesh approved the new administrative boundaries of the capital and the territories served by municipal territorial administrations. Two new MTUS have been created, and the staffing table has been strengthened with additional staff.
These steps will accelerate the development of infrastructure, improve the quality of services and create more comfortable living conditions for residents of the capital and the annexed territories.
