A working meeting between Mayor Aibek Dzhunushaliev and the directors of vocational lyceums of the capital took place at Bishkek Mayor’s Office.

During the discussion, several priority areas of cooperation were identified. First of all, attention is paid to the issues of career guidance for schoolchildren. For those who do not plan to complete secondary education, it is important to determine in advance the future profession, to understand what opportunities exist for training and employment.

A special emphasis is placed on the reform of the transition to 12-year education. As part of this process, students will be given the opportunity to learn not only general education subjects, but also to acquire professional skills during their studies.

The issues of forming and adjusting the municipal order for the most sought-after professions and specialties were also considered.

Important attention is also paid to the students' industrial practice. Internship options were discussed in a number of structural divisions of the Mayor's Office, as well as at enterprises such as Bishkeksvet, Bishkekzelenkhoz, Bishkekvodokanal and others.

Along with this, it was about additional opportunities for adults. The prospect of organizing additional education and certification programs for employees working in municipal structures, as well as training unemployed citizens for subsequent employment, is considered.

Following the meeting, the mayor instructed to develop a work plan with specific deadlines and responsible performers, and also gave instructions on the preparation of high-quality applications in the areas that will systematize the work and ensure the implementation of the tasks.
