In the meeting room of the metropolitan Municipality, the Mayor of Bishkek met with a delegation from the Korea District Heating Corporation, headed by the General Director, Mr. Chong Yong Ki.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the possibilities of bilateral cooperation in the field of energy, including the development of district heating systems.

Also, during the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Department of Fuel and Energy Complex and the specified corporation.

It is noted that the memorandum will be implemented in 6 directions, including the development of a strategic plan for modernizing the heating system using high technologies, reducing carbon dioxide, developing a tariff plan policy, etc.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed gratitude for the visit to Bishkek and for the constructive dialogue and hope for further fruitful cooperation.
