As part of the program of the final stage of the "School League" in Bishkek, from February 20 to March 4, 2024, chess and volleyball competitions among boys and girls were held at the sports base of the UVK No. 62 and at the city house of culture "Dialog".

16 secondary schools and gymnasiums of Bishkek took part in the competition.

The main goal of the sports program "School League" is the further development of youth sports in Bishkek. Involvement of secondary school students in systematic physical education and sports. Identifying promising athletes for their further training in specialized sports schools and strengthening friendly ties between secondary schools and gymnasiums.

It should be noted that within the framework of the city program "School League", district and city stages of competitions in 11 sports are held annually.

According to the results of the chess competitions, the winners and prize-winners among the girls were:

1st place – Gymnasium school No. 70;

2nd place – Gymnasium school No. 61;

3rd place – Gymnasium school No. 6;

among young men:

1st place – Gymnasium school No. 6;

2nd place – Gymnasium school No. 70;

3rd place - Educational complex No. 62.

In volleyball competitions among girls, the following became:

1st place – Educational complex No.62;

2nd place – Secondary school No. 72;

3rd place – Gymnasium school No. 1.

among young men:

1st place – Educational complex No.62;

2nd place – Secondary school No. 72;

3rd place – Secondary school No. 42.

All winners and prize—winners of the Bishkek City School League city final were awarded medals, diplomas, cups of the corresponding degrees, and also received the main prize - a ticket to Issyk-Kul.
