The May Day Akimiat congratulated the defenders of the Fatherland on the holiday.

The leadership of the district visited veterans, invalids of the Great Patriotic War, the blockade of Leningrad, juvenile prisoners of concentration camps at home, as a sign of gratitude they were given food baskets. 12 baskets were distributed on behalf of the Akimiat.

Also, in honor of the holiday, 2,000 soms will be paid to 7 disabled people and participants of the Great Patriotic War, one resident of besieged Leningrad, 4 minor prisoners of concentration camps, 24 home front workers with disabilities and without a disability group, 11 disabled people of the Soviet Army who are registered with the district department of social development.
