66 boiler houses of the municipal enterprise "Bishkekteploenergo" work smoothly.

22 of them run on natural gas and 22 on coal-fired electricity. The enterprise serves the western and south-western parts of the city: mkrn Jal, the area of the Military town, Gas Town, the village of Orto-Sai, the residential area of Kalys-Ordo, the territory of the Working Town.

Basically, the company provides thermal energy to the population, educational, medical institutions, industrial and commercial enterprises. In general, 40 schools, 14 kindergartens, 12 state institutions, 212 private enterprises are provided with heat in winter.
