Ahead of the New Year, Bishkek Mayor Aybek Junushaliev handed over official vehicles to the Municipal Inspection and district administrations.

During the handover, the Mayor expressed gratitude to the Municipal Inspection staff for their achievements, particularly in environmental protection.

“This may seem like a small event, but it is very important for the city’s effective operations. I want to highlight the contribution of the Municipal Inspection. For example, in 2025, you monitored every vehicle throughout the summer, inspected bathhouses and other facilities using prohibited substances. Over the past two years, fines collected have significantly exceeded the levels of 2023, before the Inspection was established,” said the Mayor.

Mayor Junushaliev also instructed the Inspection to strengthen oversight of bathhouses, social facilities, and other heated establishments, especially in the Dordoi residential area and surrounding territories.

A total of 17 official vehicles were handed over to the Municipal Inspection and district administrations.

Additionally, the vehicles were provided to district administrations to enhance work with residents in newly incorporated territories as part of the administrative-territorial reform and in other residential areas.

The Mayor emphasized that the modernization of material and technical resources and the provision of official vehicles will continue.
