For his contribution to the development of archival work, the Mayor of Bishkek, Aybek Junushaliev, was presented with the “Excellence in Archival Service” badge.

The city’s head was thanked for his support and assistance in developing the country’s archival system. The award was presented on behalf of the Archival Service by Nurkys Bazarbaeva, Chairperson of the Archival Service under the Ministry of Digital Development and Innovative Technologies of the Kyrgyz Republic.

It is noteworthy that, for the first time in Kyrgyzstan, a specialized building for the State Archive of Bishkek has been constructed. The five-story building with a basement, covering a total area of 2,741.16 square meters, is located on Mesarosha Street.
