Today, December 17, 2025, Bishkek Mayor Aybek Junushaliev conducted a familiarization tour of key infrastructure facilities in the capital for delegates of the 4th People’s Kurultai.

The first stop on the tour was the “Zhashtyk” sports arena. Delegates were shown the facility’s infrastructure, including the turnstile system, flooring, food court, and more. They were introduced to the arena’s functional capabilities and the conditions created for hosting sports and large-scale events.

Next, the delegation visited Depot No. 2, where the updated urban public transport infrastructure was presented. Participants were shown electric buses and given an overview of the depot area.

The following stop was the “Alga” stadium, where delegates observed the results of ongoing construction work. The mayor emphasized that during the facility’s construction, priority was given to quality, architectural aesthetics, and compliance with modern standards.

The final stage of the tour was a visit to the waste recycling plant. Delegates were introduced to the plant’s production capacities and given explanations about the processes of collection, sorting, and management of solid household waste.

At the end of the tour, a Q&A session was held, during which delegates of the 4th People’s Kurultai received clarifications on housing and utilities, transport, land amnesty, the draft Master Plan of Bishkek until 2050, and other topics.
