An educational meeting was held in Bishkek for students of sports schools aged 14 and older.
The lecture focused on “Combating Drug Crime, Preventing Offenses, and the Consequences of Drug Use.”
The event aimed to foster responsible attitudes toward health, conscious life choices, and the rejection of harmful habits among young people.
Speakers included representatives of the Department for Combating Illegal Drug Trafficking of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic — Lieutenant Colonel of Police Kanybek Usenov, Head of the Department for Prevention and Public Relations — as well as psychiatrist and narcologist Tinatin Sagynbayeva.
Experts spoke about the consequences of psychoactive substance use, the importance of preventing offenses, and maintaining physical and mental health.
The meeting brought together about 200 students from sports schools across the city. The participants actively engaged in discussions and asked questions to the specialists.
Such events are regularly held as part of youth educational programs and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.
The event was organized by the Department of Physical Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth Affairs of the Bishkek City Hall in cooperation with the Department for Combating Illegal Drug Trafficking of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
