A meeting of the Urban Planning Council was held at the Bishkek Main Department of Urban Planning and Architecture, under the Department of Urban Development and Architecture of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The session was attended by Zamira Kangel'dieva, Director of the Department of Urban Development and Architecture; Bishkek Deputy Mayor Azamat Kadyrov; Mederbek Kydyrmaev, Head of the Bishkek Main Department of Urban Planning and Architecture; and members of the Urban Planning Council.

The meeting reviewed various development projects, and a detailed report was presented by Pavel Spirin, academician of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences (RAASN) and Director of the Research Institute of Advanced Urban Planning. He provided a comprehensive urban planning analysis as part of the ongoing development of Bishkek’s General City Plan.
