A Spartakiad dedicated to the International Day of Older Persons was held in the capital, gathering around 200 participants who competed in three disciplines: athletics, table tennis, and chess. All pensioners with medical clearance for physical activity and sports were eligible to participate.

The athletics competitions took place in Kemal Atatürk Park. Men ran a distance of 1,000 meters, and women ran 500 meters. Winners were determined based on the best time.

The table tennis tournament was held at the Specialized Youth Sports School (SDYUSHOR) for national sports, with separate competitions for men and women.

The chess tournament took place at the Youth Chess School, also with separate categories for men and women.

At the end of the competitions, winners were awarded medals and certificates, and all participants received commemorative prizes for their active participation and commitment to a healthy lifestyle.

The event was organized by the Department of Physical Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth Work of the Bishkek City Hall in cooperation with the Pensioners’ Party of Kyrgyzstan.
