The municipal enterprise “Bishkekteploset” reports the completion of the replacement of worn-out heating networks on Frunze Street — in the sections from A. Osmonkul to A. Suyumbaev, from M. Gogol to S. Ibraimov, and from K. Tynystanov to Y. Abdrahmanov.

Old pipes with a diameter of 700 mm have been replaced with new 900 mm pipes, which will reduce accidents, minimize heat loss, and increase energy efficiency. The networks on Frunze Street had been in operation since 1971, more than twice the standard service life.

The work included dismantling old pipes, laying new ones, subsequent asphalt paving, and road marking. All traffic restrictions will be lifted today, September 18, in the second half of the day.

The reconstruction was carried out in coordination with the City Hall and the Department of Transport. This is part of a large-scale program to modernize the capital’s streets: in 2026, Frunze Street will be fully rehabilitated. The heating network replacement was completed in advance to avoid reopening the pavement.

Bishkekteploset guarantees quality control and the minimization of inconvenience for residents.
