Yesterday, a meeting was held at the Bishkek Main Department of Urban Planning and Architecture with specialists from the Engineering Infrastructure Department of the Research Institute of Prospective Urban Development.
During the discussion, important issues were raised regarding the collection of initial data for the development of the section dedicated to the city’s engineering infrastructure in the main urban planning document. Representatives of utility companies highlighted the most vulnerable areas of the engineering infrastructure that require special attention.
Evgeny Zhuravsky, head of the Engineering Infrastructure Department at the Research Institute of Prospective Urban Development, emphasized the importance of conducting a thorough analysis of the current state of the engineering infrastructure.
According to him, this will make it possible to develop a phased set of measures for the reconstruction of existing facilities as well as the construction of new engineering infrastructure facilities and networks.
