Renovation works in educational institutions of the capital are nearing completion as part of preparations for the new academic year.

In 2025, the Bishkek Mayor’s Office planned repairs in 89 educational facilities, including 45 schools, 41 kindergartens, and 3 children’s creativity centers.

As of today, the main works have already been completed. In facilities where renovations are still ongoing, the learning process is organized in a way that does not interfere with education.

Additionally, thanks to the attraction of extra-budgetary funds, new facilities were added to the list, which made it possible to expand the scope of renovation works.

Facilities where renovations are still in progress:

Kindergartens: No. 4, 48, 52, 56, 61, 106, 107, 117, 127, 145, 181

Schools: No. 32, 34, 41, 46, 49, 53, 60, 63, 67, 71, 73, 77, 92, 107, 116

For children from temporarily closed institutions, enrollment has been arranged in nearby schools and kindergartens to ensure the continuity of the learning process.

The educational process in the capital remains under the constant supervision of the City Hall’s Department of Education. Improving conditions for children’s learning and upbringing continues to be a key priority for the city administration.
