April 11, 2024, on the square "Ala-Too" with the participation of Deputy Mayor Azamat Kadyrov, head of Pervomaisky district Sarylbek uulu Ulan and heads of city services held a field meeting on the reconstruction of the square "Ala-Too".

They discussed the beginning of the project of reconstruction and renovation of "Ala-Too" square in order to improve the infrastructure, create comfortable conditions for citizens and tourists, as well as the preservation of historical and cultural heritage.

Thus, to date, the sketch project of reconstruction is at the final stage in the municipal enterprise "Bishkekglavarhitektura", in the near future will begin work on its implementation.

In connection with the beginning of reconstruction, public places, public gardens of Labor Glory, Friendship, Tatybubu Tursunbaeva square and the Monument of Friendship of Peoples, including pedestrian zones in the area of Ala-Too Square, will be temporarily closed.

Bishkek Mayor's Office apologizes for any temporary inconvenience that may arise due to the reconstruction.
