Municipal enterprise "Bishkek passenger road transport enterprise" reminds that buses should stop only at bus stops.

Often passengers ask to stop public transportation in the wrong place, which creates additional congestion on the roads.

Drivers of public transport who drop off passengers in inappropriate places and cause inconvenience to other vehicles and pedestrians are subject to fines.

Thus, according to Article 188 of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic for violation of the rules of stopping and parking by the UPSM of the Department of Internal Affairs in Bishkek, protocols are issued against drivers. The amount of fine for an individual is 1,000 soms.

It should be noted that the capital's municipality will consider its installation if there is a need for a stopping point in this or that place.

However, according to the resolution of Bishkek City Kenesh from October 13, 2011 № 264 "On Approval of the Rules of organization of passenger transportation by road transport in Bishkek" stop points of city routes should be located at a distance from each other at a distance of 400-600 meters for regular route, for high-speed and express route 1500-2000 meters.
