A two-day hackathon "Safe Transport - Innovations against Harassment" was held in Bishkek on May 3-4, 2024 on the basis of AUCA.

The main goal of the hackathon is to find the best innovative and digital solutions to prevent sexual harassment and ensure safe transportation of women and children (girls) in public transport, with a special focus on shuttle buses.

More than 100 people attended the event, including 10 participating teams.

During the hackathon, teams and partners participated in 2 pre-sessions in the middle and end of April 2024, where they studied the problem in detail and discussed their ideas with the organizers.    

It should be noted that the organization of the event was supported by the Bishkek City Hall.
