On March 30, 2024, mass subbotniks were held in all capital districts within the framework of the bi-month of landscaping, sanitation and greening of the territory of Bishkek.

In total, employees of 507 state and municipal institutions and economic entities took part in it.

More than 15,000 citizens actively cleaned and greened the capital.

As a result of the event, 615 trees of different species were planted. 61 special vehicles were used, 270 tons of garbage were removed.

According to the results of the clean-up day:

- Leninsky district: 5190 people took part in the city-wide Saturday clean-up day, 330 trees were planted, 17 units of special equipment were involved.

- Oktyabrsky district: 2825 citizens took part in the greening of the city, 130 trees were planted, 19 units of special equipment were used.

- Pervomaysky district: 3709 people took an active part in the city-wide clean-up day, 80 trees were planted, 17 units of special equipment were used.

- Sverdlovsky district: 3375 people participated, 75 trees were planted, 8 units of special equipment were involved.

Works on removal of the garbage collected during the subbotnik are going on.

It should be reminded that from March 11 to May 11 a two-month period of improvement, sanitary cleaning and landscaping of the capital was announced. Fines will be imposed by the Municipal Inspectorate against persons who did not participate in the clean-up day, in accordance with the Contravention Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
