The head of the capital signed an order to declare an emergency situation in accordance with the decree "On Approval of Classification of Emergency Situations and Criteria for Their Assessment in the Kyrgyz Republic". According to this decree, in case of wind gusts above 25 m/s, the emergency situation regime is declared.

Mobilized groups of district administrations, municipal inspection and municipal services have been organized to inspect the territories and identify the consequences, as well as potentially dangerous areas - hanging fragments of roofs, air conditioners, large branches, etc.

The Control Department of Bishkek Mayor's Office was instructed to form a commission to identify the facts of substandard performance of contractors' work at social facilities: schools, kindergartens, where roofs were wind damaged.
