In the city of Bishkek, cases of road accidents involving public transport have recently become more frequent.

The Bishkek Passenger Motor Transport Enterprise Municipal Enterprise conducted an analysis of all accident cases from September 29, 2023 to March 21, 2024.

In total, 80 cases of accidents involving public transport were recorded, of which 17 (22%) cases were caused by bus drivers, and in 41 (52%) cases drivers of private cars were found guilty, 21 (26%) cases are on the technical council.

It should be noted that the company conducts internal commissions on a weekly basis, following which measures are taken against drivers who violate traffic rules, up to and including dismissal from their posts.

Bishkek City Mayor's Office also urges other road users to be loyal to the work of public transport.
