Employees of the Oktyabrsky Akimat, together with representatives of the Bishkek sanitary service, family medicine centers No. 6 and No. 8, the Department of Education, MTD, hold meetings with parents of unvaccinated children from measles.

Information and educational work was carried out with the participation of parents, teachers, and medical workers on the basis of schools in the district.

Measles is an acute infectious viral disease. Adults and children can get measles, the infection spreads very quickly and can cause outbreaks in schools and kindergartens.

It should be noted that in 2023, 2,307 cases of measles were registered in Bishkek, and 1,700 cases in 2 months of 2024.
