Since March 14, commission surveys of 60 roads, 70 km long, repaired within the framework of the project "Development of the Bishkek City road Network" (Phase 2) have been launched.
According to the results of the survey on the identified defects and damages, defective certificates will be drawn up for the established emergency areas and sent to the contractor for elimination.
In September, a second commission survey of roads for readiness for the winter period will be carried out.
Such surveys will be conducted annually until the end of October 2025. In case of complete elimination of the identified defects and the absence of any claims for the road works performed, the Bishkek City Mayor's Office will sign the final act of project completion (Phase 2).
It should be noted that some unscrupulous citizens arbitrarily carried out work on the repaired roads on the installation of engineering networks without compaction of soil and backfilling, with a depth of at least 1 meter.
According to the technology, heavy rollers can compact the soil only at a depth of 30-40 cm. For this reason, after the winter, subsidence of the pavement of the carriageway and sidewalks occurred in the areas where work was carried out on the installation of engineering networks.
Technical conclusions are drawn up for all violations. Measures will be taken against violators in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Recall that the project "Development of the Bishkek City road network" Phase-1 and Phase-2 have been successfully completed. The work was carried out by a contracting organization – China Road and Bridge Corporation at the expense of grant funds of the People's Republic of China.
