As part of the implementation of the instructions of the Bishkek City Mayor's Office, it is planned to build 100 garbage collection and sorting points.

There is a solid waste sorting point in the Sverdlovsk district of the capital.

As part of the pilot project, a solid waste sorting point is operating on the territory of the Sverdlovsk district at the intersection of Toktogul and Shopokov streets.

A special eco-site for primary garbage sorting was built taking into account national and international standards and sanitary and hygienic norms.

A Euro container, CCTV cameras are installed, central communication systems are connected: water supply, sewerage and electricity. A room was equipped for the garbage sorter, a bathroom, an ariston and an air conditioner were installed.

Garbage containers are located in a specially designated place under a canopy to protect against precipitation (rain, snow). When installing containers, the population of the nearest houses was also taken into account.

The purpose of the project:

1. Instilling in the citizens a culture of separate collection and the development of environmental awareness;

2. Improving the environmental situation and preserving health;

3. Attracting private companies and increasing the revenue side of the city.

Work on the placement of such sites continues.
