A press conference of the Mayor of the capital Emilbek Abdykadyrov on the work of the municipality and the tasks for 2023 is being held in KNNA Kabar.

The mayor said that in the capital, in order to solve the problem with traffic jams on the roads under the project “Development of the road network in Bishkek at the expense of a grant from the People's Republic of China” (Phase-3), the construction of transport interchanges, overpasses and other facilities is envisaged:

•Transport interchange in two levels at the intersection of L. Tolstoy- Fuchik streets. The construction of this interchange will increase the capacity of vehicles in the south-western part of Bishkek;

•Overpasses along T. Aitmatov and Suyumbayev streets through the railway with access to L. Tolstoy Street;

•Transport hub at the intersection of L. Tolstoy-M. streets. Guards (punching the boulevard of M. Guards to E. Matyev Street (Chapaev with the construction of a bridge over the Ala-Archa river). The construction of this node will increase the capacity of vehicles along M. Guardia Boulevard and L. Tolstoy St. in the western direction;

•Transport-overpass bridge in two levels at the intersection of Ankara streets – April 7.
