In the October administration, an action was held to identify risk factors for non-communicable diseases.

The main goal of the campaign "Be responsible!" is to increase the coverage of the male population of Kyrgyzstan with medical services for the prevention of non-communicable diseases. According to the data of the Center for Electronic Health at the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, men aged 18 to 54 years are more at risk of NCDs than women of the same age.

The promotion will be held from April 1 to April 30, 2023. During this time, men can contact a local health organization and get free medical advice from a medical professional.

The month is held within the framework of the Swiss project on effective management and prevention of noncommunicable diseases in Kyrgyzstan.

Within the framework of the month, special reception hours for men will be organized, which will increase the availability of medical services. Also another key element is the involvement of schoolchildren in the month "Be responsible!", as previous experience has shown the effectiveness of this approach.
