Earlier, the Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure of the Bishkek City Mayor's Office purchased 120 new buses of the brand "Zhongtong 6105" from the company "Zhongtong Bus Holding Co Ltd".
The Department of Transport has prepared draft schemes of minibus routes for unloading central streets, taking into account the creation of ring routes and a positive ecological system in the center of the capital.
Currently, there are two ring bus routes. Municipal (social) route No. 48, No. 35 of the municipal enterprise “Bishkek Passenger Motor Transport Company". Both routes connect the main passenger-forming sectors such as Alamedin and Osh markets, Western and Eastern bus stations.
Thus, the new buses are distributed along the existing route lines as follows:
No. 35 bus (Western Bus Station – railway Station – Eastern Bus Station) length 18.2 km, interval – 7min. 14 buses have been allocated. In terms of passenger capacity, it will replace 42 minibuses of route line No. 113.
No.48 bus (Western bus Station – Eastern bus Station (ring)) the length is 18 km, the interval is 7 minutes. Allocated 14 buses of the brand. It will replace 42 minibuses of route line No. 214.
No. 38 bus route (Alamedin-1mkr – 110 block) covers the western and eastern parts of the city, the length is 37.4 km, the interval is 7 minutes. 19 buses have been allocated.
No. 42 bus route (12-mkr – railway Ala-Too) covers the southern and western parts of the city, the length is 49.6 km, the interval is 7 minutes. 19 buses have been allocated.
Bus route No. 7 (Alamedin-1 – Dostuk Cottage) covers the northern and southern parts of the city, the length is 40.7 km, the interval is 7 minutes. 20 buses of the brand "Yutong 6108" were allocated.
The Department of Transport has also developed new schemes for the movement of bus routes: No.31,49,50,19:
No. 31 bus (Yntymak residential area) length 34km, interval – 7min. 24 buses have been allocated. It will replace 72 minibuses of route line No. 101.
No. 49 bus (Archa-Beshik residential area) length 24.2 km, interval – 7min. 11 buses have been allocated. It will replace 33 minibuses.
No. 50 bus (Zhilgorodok – Ruhiy-Muras residential area) length 44 km, interval – 7min. Allocated 19 buses. Will replace 66 minibuses.
No. 19 bus (residential area Ak-Ordo – Kustanayskaya street) length 34km, interval – 7min. Allocated 17 buses (Yutong 6108). It will replace 51 minibuses.
The above-mentioned buses, which will be used according to the new traffic patterns in the amount of 54 units, will replace 162 minibuses, which will significantly affect the ecology of the city due to harmful emissions into the atmosphere.
