Winter planting of green spaces continues in the capital.
The city's gardeners plant coniferous and deciduous trees with a closed root system along the streets: Frunze, Tokombayev, Baitik-Baatyr, in the square on April 7 and on Victory Square. A total of 280 young trees will be planted.
Recall that new large-sized birch seedlings were planted on Victory Square to replace the old dry poplars.
Also note that unlike the warm season, planting trees in winter has a lot of advantages. In winter, the plant is at rest, and therefore, when transplanting, all its vital processes are not disrupted. It turns out that during the winter planting period the tree has no leaves, as a result of which there is minimal evaporation of moisture, which in turn favorably affects the safety of the root system.
