A farewell ceremony with Abdrazak Mokenov was held in Bishkek. The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of the capital Emilbek Abdykadyrov and the chairman of the Bishkek City Kenesh Kuvanychbek Kongantiev.

On February 7, Abdrazak Mokenov passed away.

A. Mokenov contributed to the development of our city and country and left an indelible mark in the hearts of many with his valuable advice and life experience.

He was born in 1936 in the village of Ken-Suu, Tyupsky district, Issyk-Kul region.

1980-1985 worked as Chairman of the Executive Committee of the city of Frunze, was a deputy of several convocations of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR. He was an honorary citizen of Bishkek.

To date, he has worked as chairman of the Council of Veterans and Workers of the Great Patriotic War of the Sverdlovsk district of Bishkek.

A. Mokenov will be buried at the Ala-Archinsky cemetery.
