The Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure held a meeting with the heads of public transport companies in Bishkek.
During the meeting, issues of increasing planned line exits, installing GPS trackers in minibuses, as well as issues of compliance with culture and ethics among drivers were discussed.
Director of the Department Maksat Nusuvaliyev noted the importance of joint systematic work to improve the capital's transport system and reminded managers of their personal responsibility for the uninterrupted provision of public transport.
It was also instructed to equip vehicles with location-based devices (GPS trackers) as soon as possible.
Carriers are recommended to consider the issue of increasing the planned output of rolling stock as soon as possible and constantly monitoring the technical condition of existing minibuses.
Representatives of companies implementing GPS trackers presented a program for satellite monitoring of vehicles based on their own software platforms. Using the platform, you can track public transport in real time, inform passengers about the location and movement of public passenger transport.
Recall that for the convenience of citizens, the movement of trolleybuses and buses can be tracked in the "My City" application.
This appendix shows the routes and final stops of municipal transport. And you can also see where the trolleybus and bus are currently located.
