In Bishkek, under the chairmanship of Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov, a board of the Mayor's Office of the capital was held on the results of activities for 2022.
The board was attended by the Mayor of the capital Emilbek Abdykadyrov, Chairman of the Bishkek City Kenesh Kuvanychbek Kongantiev and heads of city services.
The mayor made a report on the tasks of the municipality for 2023.
He noted that 1 school will be built in the residential area of "Ak-Bata", as well as 6 healthcare institutions. It is also planned to build 12 kindergartens at the expense of the republican and local budgets.
This year, the construction of 4 overpasses will begin within the framework of the 3rd stage of the project "Development of the Bishkek City road network". Major repairs of roads with a length of 16 km and sidewalks with a length of 20 km will also be carried out.
Emilbek Abdykadyrov also said that it is planned to build 10 municipal baths.
Two underpasses will be built at the intersection of Chui Avenue and Shopokova Street and Chui Avenue and Beishenalieva Street.
Along with this, 100 sorting points for solid household waste will be put into operation. A project for the construction of an underground storage of solid household waste will be implemented.
According to the mayor, it is planned to implement an investment project for the purchase of 5,000 single-color electric taxis. In addition, it is planned to drill 12 wells.
The plans of the Mayor's office of the capital for 2023:
- Return of 50 hectares of land previously used for garage cooperatives and other facilities on the territory of Bishkek;
- Resumption of all types of land lease auctions;
- Creation of three municipal markets;
- Increase of the revenue part of the budget to 30 million soms by increasing the efficiency of the use of park areas;
- Organization of the sale of temporarily leased land plots for the design and construction of apartment buildings.
Due to the implementation of such plans, it is planned to increase revenues in the field of municipal property management by more than 160 million soms compared to 2022.
