In Bishkek, under the chairmanship of Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov, a board of the Mayor's Office of the capital was held on the results of activities for 2022.
The meeting of the board was attended by the Mayor of the capital Emilbek Abdikadyrov, Chairman of the Bishkek City Kenesh Kuvanychbek Kongantiev and heads of city services.
There have also been changes in the social sphere of the capital.
In 2022, 40% of Altyn Tamga honors certificates and 45% of Nationwide testing gold certificates were received by secondary school students in Bishkek.
In order to reduce the burden on emergency medical care, a visiting outpatient service of Bishkek has been created, the purpose of which is to provide high-quality medical services to patients in need of treatment at home. For the operation of this service in 2021, 7 sanitary vehicles were purchased at the expense of the city budget. In 2022, their number has been increased to 16 cars.
The Bishkek City Mayor's Office and the Korean Agency for International Cooperation signed a Memorandum for responding to COVID-19 and other infectious diseases, under which 22,936.5 thousand soms were allocated for the purchase of medical equipment.
As part of the provision of a social contract, contracts were signed with 350 families from socially vulnerable segments of the population of Bishkek for a total amount of 35 million soms.
In 2022, pupils of city schools at different levels of competitions in various sports won 184 medals (46 gold, 53 silver and 85 bronze), which is 45% more compared to last year. Members of Bishkek city national sports teams took part in 32 international competitions, including Asian and World Championships.
In 2022, the capital hosted the II International Children's Folklore Festival "Nariste", which was attended by more than 4 thousand children from all regions of Kyrgyzstan and CIS countries and the first Bishkek Delphic Games within the framework of the cultural and educational project "Delphic Games on the Great Silk Road", where competitions were held in 12 categories, including 2 nominations with the participation of young people and children with disabilities. The event was attended by prominent figures of culture, art, education and science from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia and other countries.
