On the basis of Gymnasium School No. 39, the Department of Education held a training seminar for teachers on the subject "History of the development of religions".

65 teachers of the capital's schools were trained.

A new subject for 9th grade students was introduced in all Bishkek schools in the 2022-2023 academic year, and is the same for all educational organizations, regardless of the language of instruction.

The subject "History of the development of religions" is one of the subjects of the social educational field of the basic curriculum.

According to the subject standard, 34 hours per year are provided, the lesson will be held once a week. The evaluation system is excluded.

In the practical part of the seminar, school teachers presented fragments of lessons on the subject program.

Thus, students will study the origin and history of religions, learn to understand the meaning of religious teachings: through the analysis of their influence on modern society and trends, students' attitude to the meaning of religions will be formed, they will understand what it means to be tolerant.
